A Relationship From A Woman’s Perspective

The kiss I get is like a drive by from a rival gang. The slight glance as you walk by. You greet the me and the kids for a few minutes.

Off to your home office for an hour or longer.

That time could have been spent with us. I understand that you are the provider for our family, you are appreciated, but I need you!

You leave me to work, our lifestyle, the things we have, the trips we take, make me happy but all I really want is you! Money can’t buy Love, at least not mine! You come home wondering why I’m short on patience, I put the kids off to bed again. I serve you dinner, I hope I didn’t forget anything. What did I do today you ask? That question! Like I did nothing all day, do you need seconds? Let me get up again and get that for you. You are finished, oh yes, of course, I’ll take care of your plate for you dear. I hope you don’t go back to your office! I want to spend time with you. I need your touch, your love, your affection. You expect me to be ready to lay down with you at the end of the night, yearning to fulfill your desires and needs. Im supposed to be turned on because you provide for me and our children by the work you do, I work to, although of course not as much as you, but my job is never done, I’m A Woman, a Mom, a trusted friend and so much more! As our young son grows to be a man, I hope he sees that his Mom was home with him as long as possible. He will be soon off to school and turn into a young man, that will learn to live and love in a special way.
